God’s command is clear, if we want to follow his ways we must live apart from evil.<\/p>\n

But time after time we stumble and fall. And with each fall we run an even greater risk: not getting up.<\/p>\n

Because if there is one thing our adversary knows how to use very well, it is our sense of guilt.<\/p>\n

First he incites us, and if we fall he accuses us.<\/p>\n

Sinning deprives us of blessings, and can have permanent consequences in our lives.<\/p>\n

However, if there is real repentance the verse offers us hope: We have an advocate in Christ.<\/p>\n

Therefore, if you want to lead a spiritual life of victory, cling to God, seek the filling of His Holy Spirit, and do not sin.<\/p>\n

But if you sin, don’t add an even greater sin: not repenting.<\/p>\n
