“Keep this Book of the Law always on your lips; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful” (Josu\u00e9 1:8).<\/em><\/h4>\n

Joshua had an extraordinary mission: to lead the people of Israel in the reconquest of the Promised Land.<\/p>\n

But God did not offer him, as He did Solomon, the possibility of asking for some gift to help him.<\/p>\n

However, He gave him something better, He gave him a promise: He would carry out his mission as long as he kept the Word of God as his guide, as his bedside book.<\/p>\n

Joshua was to find in the Book light, wisdom and direction to fulfill his calling.<\/p>\n

And the same applies to us.<\/p>\n

Therefore, if you want to develop God’s plan for your life, keep your Bible close by.<\/p>\n

Apply its principles, seek more of God in it, and live it every day.<\/p>\n

And you will see how God’s plan becomes a reality in your life, in spite of the opposition of our adversary.<\/p>\n
