The prayer of a righteous person

“The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective” (James 5:16)

It may seem like just words, but prayer has a lot of power.

Prayer is the result of a search for God, a longing for his presence.

True prayer helps us to tune in to God’s will, sets God’s power in motion and transforms and renews us.

Prayer is capable of changing our circumstances but, above all, it changes the way we perceive them.

Because approaching God in prayer helps us to see our need from his height, above the clouds of doubt and fear.

The problems or constraints may still be there, but prayer reminds us that every aspect of our lives is in his hands.

If we cry out and trust in Him, God will send the right answer.

Always.
