Call (cry out) to me and I will answer you

God seems to like the expression “cry out” very much, and no wonder.

He is God of powerful actions and intense emotions, and to cry out is a verb that denotes intensity in action, it is to ask or call with vehemence.

Because He wants us to approach His presence with conviction, with the certainty that God is our best option, not our last.

And he wants us not to let him go, until he answers us. Even if the answer is “no”. Because that response is part of God’s direction for our lives.

So don’t just order, like someone ordering a train ticket or a pizza.

Cry out to God as if your life depended on it, because it probably does.
