“I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.” (John 16:33)

One of the essential principles of the Christian life is trust.

When the Tabernacle was built, all the people supported with offerings, and trusted the “wise in heart” people to do the work (Exodus 35 onwards).

When the wall of Jerusalem was rebuilt in the time of Nehemiah, everyone did his part and relied on others.

In the passage of the watchman (Ezekiel 33:1-7) we see how, in time of war, the people put their lives in the watchman’s hands, trusting that he would warn at the slightest hint of trouble.

And they relied on people.

Well, throughout our lives we will face problems and situations in which we will have to trust God to do his part.

We will not have previous proofs or “fleeces”, like Gideon, but “only” the words of Jesus: Take heart.

But this promise is faithful and true.

Therefore, when God asks something of you, hold fast to his promise and trust his call.

Follow Him despite your fears and doubts.

And God will do.

See you.

Can you help me to share it? Thank you very much
